Introduction of the fund:

UMB Fund was established in 2002 towards helping vulnerable strata of the population during transition period. It is a voluntary public organization with no foreign and domestic political or religious influence and interference.

In the past time the fund rendered material and financial assistance to the Batsumber state nursing home of Central aimag, Darkhan-Uul aimag nursery kindergarten sanatorium, Khentiy aimag nursing home and the prison for minors No.411, and undertook other relevant social measures. The fund was awarded with “Honorary Title” of the State Social Welfare Department and “Gratitude Diploma” of the Mongolian society for protection of rights of blind and deaf-and-dumb children.

For the sake of drawing public awareness onto vital problems of vulnerable strata of our society we produced by our own financial means a range of documentary movies as “Yargui”, “Grey city” and “Neighbor uncle living on roof”, and presented them for public attention.

UMB Fund is committed to further conduct various activities and actions aimed at assisting those in need and despair, including media publications, documentary movies and programs.
